Message from Director

Alumni are the basic constituent and important stakeholders of any higher educational institute. Alumni are life-long family members of the institute and constitute a great force by virtue of their wisdom, innovative minds and ideas, working in the diverse fields at various geographical locations across the world. As its esteemed alumni, you are also aware that Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology is one of the leading institutions of national importance in the area of technical education, which was formerly known as Maulana Azad college of Technology (MACT). MANIT/MACT has produced many technocrats, entrepreneurs, scientists, role models etc in last many years.

MANIT, Bhopal recognizes the potential role that an alumnus can play in fostering its growth and thus initiates an ‘MANIT/MACT Alumni Coordination Cell’, a central body that would commence and coordinate all alumni activities. The cell encourages the alumni to take abiding interest in the progress and development of Alma Mater. By establishing this cell, I also offer my sincere gratitude to the students of Alma Mater and I wish that our relationship foster strongly in the coming future. I look forward to your valuable thoughts on how you can contribute in this endeavor by sparing some of your valuable time and expertise to the benefit of your Alma Mater and to the community at large.

I once again would like to thank you and hope to receive positive feedbacks very soon.

Director, MANIT. .

Dear Alumni,

With great pride, humility and a sense of deep responsibility, I'm here today as the first elected President of our esteemed MANIT Global Alumni. At the outset, I offer my humble gratitude to the College Authorities for helping to conduct this first ever Election of MANIT Alumni. My heartfelt thanks to our Mentors & my Team mates. Special thanks to Past Council & Election Committee for conducting such marathon Exercise successfully. Finally, big thanx to all our Alumni for their valuable support throughout this campaign and bestowing their faith in me and my Team.

This victory is not just mine or 18 of us who won this election but it belongs to all of us. We are a team and together we can achieve greater heights for our Alumni and our Alma Mater.

I believe, all of us, our entire Alumni community share a common bond of pride of being MANITian. We all are passionate about MANIT. We are passionate to reconnect with old friends & build new connections to help each other professionally & personally and to hold together the Flag of MANIT high in the sky.

As we move forward, let me outline some of our key priorities for MANIT Alumni. First and foremost, I believe we need to focus on building a stronger, wider & more inclusive MANIT Alumni Community by creating opportunities for Alumni to come together and network, exchange ideas, help each other professionally & personally.

We vow to make meaningful contributions to building an Alumni community that serves all members’ interests beyond just being a social club. Our further plans are :

• Rekindling MANIT Pride

• Encouraging Chapter Activities

• Registration of MANIT Alumni as a legal entity

• Ensure periodic Audit of accounts

• Helping Alma mater in its endeavors.

Finally, I want to emphasize that this victory is not the end of our journey, but the beginning of a new chapter in the history of MANIT Alumni. We have a lot of work to do, challenges to overcome and opportunities to seize. Together, we can chart a journey that builds on our rich history and strengthens the bonds that unite us as Alumni. I am confident that together, we can achieve our goals, realize our dreams and create a brighter future for our MANIT Alumni.
