About SC/ST Cell:
As per the instructions of Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension (Department of Personnel and Training) vide Office Memorandum No. 43011/153/2010-Estt.(Res.) dtd. 4th January 2013, an ST/SC Cell is being constituted with following members in the institute to resolve the grievances of ST/SC employees and students:

Further, as and when need arises in the matters of students/scholars, Chairperson, ST/SC Cell may temporary co-opt any other members with the concurrence of the competent authority.
The SC/ST Cell shall look into following matters related to employees as well as students:
- Promote equality and social justice for ST/SC employees and students. Grievance redressal of ST/SC employees and students and render them necessary help in solving their administrative as well as academic problems.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effective implementation of reservation policies and other programs intended for ST/SCs by the Government of India at MANIT Bhopal.
- Suggest the follow-up measures to the administration of the Institute for achieving the objectives and targets laid down by Ministry of Education for the empowerment of ST/SCs.
- Dissemination of the awareness of higher education to the SC/ST students.
- Any other matter related to ST/SC employees and students as prescribed by the Competent Authority of the Institute.
