1. COVID-19 Awareness:
The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) has spread all over the world and India is not isolated from it. Although this viral disease has spread mainly in urban areas of the country where most of the people travelled to foreign countries and got infected which is considered the main cause of virus spreading in India. Due to timely lockdown by the central government and state governments it has been controlled within the urban cities and rural India almost safe. But this has been confirmed that this virus is highly transmitted from person to person and people are migrating from cities to rural villages due to loss of their jobs in urban areas.
Keeping in view this migration urgency, this is our duty as a Regional Coordinator Institute (RCI) and Participating Institute (PI) to assess the level of awareness, precaution among the rural people in the adopted villages through telephonic conversation and instructions to village Sarpanches, provided written material through social groups and health advisory has been provided to remain safe and infection free in their respective villages.
2. Achievements of RCI MA-NIT Bhopal (June 2020): One of our Participating Institute (PI), College of Agriculture, Tikamgarh, got the research project.
